External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on M4 Sherman. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

References to World of Tanks web pages.
[edit]@Hhfjbaker:. Where does the name Nicholas Moran come from? I did not find it on any World of Tanks web page. There are a few more World of Tanks references. All or none should be SFNs. User-duck (talk) 22:37, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
- It is the real name of the author using the tagline, The Chieftan on World of Tanks. He's been on History Channel. I saw him live in Stow MA a few years back at Collings FRoundation. Irish-born, US Citizen. Was in Irish Army tank outfit, emigrated, joined US Army Reserves. I think he might still be in reserves. He has worked for the gaming company for many years. - Yes, I am working through the refs to convert them. I think our conflicting edits might have just blown out the info box. Boo Boo (talk) 22:47, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
There is a publication date on each of the five World of Tanks pages. I assume they are mm/dd/yyyy. I would suggest that they are used instead of access-date year. User-duck (talk) 02:10, 28 March 2022 (UTC)

- User-duck, Looks like you are working on it today. I'll go through and try to update the journal/periodical citations and leave the books to you for the present.Boo Boo (talk) 16:07, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
Why Would Someone Revert Good Faith Efforts to put in SFNP Format
[edit]Uh, if someone has put the time and effort in to streamline an article and put it in sfnp format so the refs and the sources connect, why remove the edits? What actual harm have the edits made? The format allows the linking to a url, so, isn't that helpful? WTF?? Boo Boo (talk) 17:41, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
Can anyone find any high-quality photos of Armour tests on M4A3E2's glacis and turret plates?
[edit]The only photos available are relatively low-quality photos such as the one attached:

Sherman DWG (Deep Wading Gear)
[edit]In one of my many deep dives to the depths of the internet, I found a bit of kit on the sherman's used during the pacific front and in preparations for Normandy. I'd love to get more people into looking into this. - MountainKemono (talk) 01:41, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
